Why "just replace it" costs more than it should

A dry couch, a cracking bag, a sun-bleached car seat: the leather isn't ruined. It's dehydrated, and most of what's on the shelf makes it worse.

$$$

Replacement is expensive

Reupholstering a leather sofa runs $800โ€“$3,000+, and a favorite bag, jacket, or car interior often isn't replaceable at any price.

One-size-fits-all conditioners fail leather

Silicone sealants trap moisture and speed up cracking. Saddle soap and dish soap strip natural oils. Animal-fat conditioners like mink oil go rancid, which is exactly what feeds mold in storage.

โฑ

Multi-step kits take hours

Cleaner, then conditioner, then sealant: most routines eat a full afternoon. Leather Clear is one step, dry in about 30 seconds, and safe on every color.

What makes it different

Most leather conditioners choose speed over the health of your leather, and most only work on one color. Doc Bailey's doesn't cut either corner.

Common questions

Will it change the color of my leather? +
No. Leather Clear is color-neutral and safe on every leather color: tan, brown, white, red, and more. If you're restoring black leather specifically, use Leather Black instead.
Is it safe on furniture, car interiors, and bags? +
Yes. It's formulated for furniture, automotive interiors, handbags, jackets, and footwear, anywhere leather needs cleaning and conditioning without a color change.
Does it help with mold or mildew on stored leather? +
Yes. Unlike animal-fat-based conditioners that can go rancid and feed mold, Doc Bailey's lanolin formula cleans existing mold off the surface and doesn't leave anything behind that invites it back.
How long does one bottle last? +
A little goes a long way: one bottle treats about a hundred pairs of boots, a leather jacket 30 to 40 times, or a full sofa several times over.
Will it rub off on my clothes? +
No. It dries to the touch in about thirty seconds with no residue and no stickiness. About an hour later, go back with a dry rag to pick up any excess and seal it clean.
